How to protect your garden from frost

Whilst crisp winter days look nice, frost and cold weather cause considerable damage to homes and gardens.

In your garden, when the temperature drops to 0 degrees Celsius or below, the water in plant cells freezes. This results in limp and blackened plants which do not grow. Blossom and fruit are also damaged.

So living as we do in a colder climate prone to frost and freezing conditions, how do you tackle this common problem?

Here we show you easy ways to help protect your garden from frost. As they say, prevention is better than cure!
